But just because it's really nice to actually see a finished product once in a while. Here is one of the two Shabby to Chic redo's that were completed yesterday.
We'll start with this gem found on craigslist for $30
And here it is tonight. I ran into an issue with finding knobs for this beauty. The holes were drilled at such an odd length that I went through three sets of pulls before throwing my arms up and just going with other knobs that I had purchased for the buffet from yesterday and didn't like.
You might recognize the chair from the corner as being the $11 Chair Redo from this post.
That Crystal 5x7 (empty) frame on the dresser was an awesome find. Although I had second thoughts about buying it because it was so expensive... 99 cents... For a HANDCUT crystal frame... That was a tough decision right there.
Tomorrow I'll show you the drastic transformation on this piece!! You're not going to believe how gorgeous it is . (Update: See this finished piece here )

Hey, I found your blog via A Soft Place To Land, DIY Day. I love it! You have some really nice repurposes!
Wow!!! That dresser turned out amazing! Can't wait to see what you do with the other one :)
Hi
I just found your blog. Amazing. Can you tell us what kind of paint did you use, how do you paint your projects and also your chair. Love to have a tutorial.

Thanks everyone for all of your sweet comments! I'm really happy with how they turned out and so happy that you've enjoyed them.
Dianne, I'm on a hunt for two chairs that I can redo for my office and I'll be sure to do a complete tutorial on how I did them.
Next up on my list is a coffee table and I'll do a step-by-step on that one for also.
I never would have thought to use two knobs instead of one handle for each drawer! What a great idea ... and it keeps you from having to putty up the old holes. Love it! It looks amazing.
Thanks Katherine! I'm really happy with how it turned out and since I'm super lazy, I'll do anything to avoid having to putty holes!!!
The double knobs are what gives this an upscale "Pottery Barn" look. Takes it up a notch over just painting it black!
You've got some good ideas.
Can't wait to see tomorrows finished project.
Talk to you soon ;)
